Traditional T-style tone with a little more range. The Gowen T set combines a clear, cutting bridge pickup with a warmer neck pickup, giving the familiar snap and bite associated with classic T-style guitars while remaining usable across a wide range of modern styles.
The bridge pickup is wound to 7.5k with Alnico V magnets, producing the bright attack and firm low end expected from a traditional T bridge pickup. It has enough output to handle driven sounds without losing the clarity needed for clean playing.
 
The neck pickup is wound to 7.0k with Alnico II magnets, giving a rounder, fuller sound that balances naturally with the bridge. Together the two pickups provide the classic bridge, neck and combined tones associated with traditional T-style guitars.
 
Designed, developed and custom-wound in the United Kingdom, the Gowen T pickups offer a distinctive take on vintage T-style tone that works equally well for traditional and contemporary players.
 
Gowen T pickups are currently available in black forbon bobbin tops with exposed poles.
