GOWEN J
Our double-cutaway guitar.
The J-Type is our version of a highly contoured 'super-strat' body.
Our J guitars are available in a choice of different solid woods, with or without tops, and with the option to specify humbuckers, single coils, or a combination.
Prices start at around £2350 (-10% with student discount) for a new J shape guitar in a solid Alder / Walnut / Ash body with two pickups and 2 control pots.
Unique, figured tone wood bodies or tops or extra veneers add between £150 and £700+ to the basic cost of the instrument - visit the Shop page for more information on the body wood and top combinations we currently have available, or email us for details of the look / wood you'd like for your guitar. We can source completely individual top and body woods especially for your guitar.

Our second J Type was also commissioned by Lucy Gowen, this time built form a one-piece slab of Isle Of Wight Holly, again with a H-S-S pickup combination (Seymour Duncan JB Junior plus Gemini Single Coils).
